Creative businesses in Omagh and across Northern Ireland now have an exciting opportunity to develop their next big interactive idea, thanks to a new funding call from Northern Ireland Screen.
The Interactive Development Fund is open for applications from Northern Ireland-based companies working on video games, immersive experiences, or augmented and extended reality projects.
Projects must run for at least three months between December 2025 and March 2026, with total budgets starting from £25,000. Up to £20,000 in funding is available per project, with applicants required to contribute at least £2,500 in cash and £2,500 in-kind (through time, services, or equipment).
Successful applicants will be expected to deliver a playable demo (vertical slice), gameplay footage, high-quality visuals, a pitch deck, and a marketing plan outlining a clear route to market.
This is a valuable chance for local digital and creative companies — including those based in Omagh and the wider Fermanagh & Omagh District — to take their interactive projects to the next stage of development.
Applications close at 5pm on Friday 24 October 2025.
