Omagh Business Man Wins “Easy Start-Up Entrepreneur” Award
Local business man Connor McCann from Omagh, Northern Ireland joins the easyGroup family of brands.
His business start-up has been successfully selected for this prestigious award which was presented to him personally by Sir Stelios, the founder of easyJet and owner of the easy brand. The presentation of the “easy start-up entrepreneurs 2017” award was held at the Museum of Brands in Notting Hill, London on the 18th May 2017.
The deserving winner entered the competition through the easyGroup Facebook page and was shortlisted to pitch his business idea to a panel of judges in London.
Connor presented his business idea easyConveyance.com which will provide an online transaction platform to facilitate tracking, communication and transparency of the conveyance process between seller, purchaser and their respective solicitors in the sale or purchase of property. A dashboard will provide end to end case visibility, supported by email and text updates to each party at all key milestones of the conveyance.
Speaking with Connor on his achievement he said “Winning this Award is a huge recognition of what started as an idea is going to become a reality. I am very grateful to Sir Stelios and the easyGroup for having the faith in me and look forward to our new venture together. He said “Buying a home is often the single biggest financial commitment someone can make. Estate agents and the marketing of property have moved online via property portals, which have changed the landscape of estate agency by providing an easier and more convenient 24/7 market place.
The easyConveyance website will provide the legal profession with a platform to conduct property transactions online. By doing so they will be able to provide a more collaborative and streamlined model leading to a better customer experience.”
