Can you describe your business?
The overall goal of my business is to help people to improve their lives. I use kinesiology to massage, relax and balance the body, working with injury, pain or weakness. I use mindset coaching to help people take better control of the way they see themselves and the world around them, working with people to help with panic, anxiety, pain, phobias, confidence self-belief and motivation. Outside of the office I offer public speaking to companies to help them get the best out of their team, I combine motivational speaking with mentalism and skills of the vagabond to insure my talks are exciting as well as educational.
Why did you start your own business?
I started my own business because I felt it time to make my mark on the world, which I was never going to do working for someone else. I love a challenge, what better challenge than seeing if you can go out and stand on your own two feet and be what you want to be.
What are the best things about running your own business?
I get to work with incredible people every day, each new company or client has their own story to tell, you learn so much by taking the opportunity to listen. The hours are great as well, people might think that means I don’t do to many but believe me I do a lot, the difference is these hours are in support of my goal not someone else’s, which makes it easier.
What are the main challenges facing the business?
Like any new business, the main challenge is getting your name out there so people know where you are and what you do.
What advice would you give to someone starting a business?
My advice would be to ask people who have started their own business as many questions as they are willing to answer, build your network so you have people that can help you along the way.
