The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated on 3 December each year

The day is promoted across the world by the United Nations to encourage better understanding of disability issues. It provides an occasion to celebrate and acknowledge the experience and capabilities of people with disabilities, and focus on measures to support greater integration and equality for all.
