Horizon 2020 is the European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation

The Programme runs until 2020 with a budget of approximately €80 billion

Who is the workshop for?

This free workshop is aimed at a range of sectors including: local and central government, research bodies, NGOs, not for profit organisations, the agri-food sector, business/industry and, in particular, the SME sector.

Who is speaking?

The event will be opened by the Environment Minister, Mark H Durkan, and includes talks by the Northern Ireland Horizon 2020 Manager, InterTradeIreland, NI Contact Points who will cover various topic areas related to environment and climate change and the event will include case studies on successful projects.

Networking opportunities?

Networking is an essential element for developing successful bids for EU funding. This event will give participants the opportunity to meet potential project partners, organisations that can provide help and support and many of those who have been involved in successful EU projects.

There will also be an opportunity to meet the speakers and other officials on a one to one basis.
