About UnLtd
UnLtd is a charity which supports social entrepreneurs – people with vision, drive, commitment and passion who want to change the world for the better. We do this by providing a tailored package of funding and support to help these individuals make their ideas a reality.
Our mission is to reach out and unleash the energies of people who can transform the world in which they live: people who we call social entrepreneurs. We work for a world where people act to make it better.
Our approach is to provide financial and non-financial support to a growing number of social entrepreneurs, from those starting out to some whom we help to expand and grow their idea. UnLtd believe people powered solutions are key to success, and our aim is to help expand and develop an effective system of support for community entrepreneurs.

Build It Award
Build It Awards are unique! We are looking for inspiring people who have innovative and entrepreneurial solutions to some of biggest challenges facing communities, wider society and the world.
We envisage offering only a small number of Awards a year at this level. For this reason potential applicants must have a viable business case and also be able to demonstrate all or a high percentage of the following to be considered for an Award.
About You
- You are ready to grow to a local or regional scale
- You have strong local or regional networks
- You have a commitment to delivering local or regional impact
- You need financial support to help with living expenses as you take your venture to the next level (up to £15,00 available)
Your Idea
- Your venture is dynamic and successful and has been running for at least one year, you have defined income streams and evidence of their success
- You have track record of creating social impact
- You have a strong vision for the long term development of your venture
- Our support will help you reach the next level
What You Need
- One to one support
- Confidence building
- Help with developing a team and a Board
- Pro bono and networking opportunities

To apply for a Build It Award please go to unltd.org.uk/buildit and complete an Expression of Interest.
- If you are invited to submit a full application, you will receive details regarding the Build It Information Session which will take place on the 6th November 2014.
- Full applications must be received by Friday 5th December by 12 noon.
Please note that our application process is extremely competitive and we are not able to provide individual feedback to applicants who do not pass the initial assessment stage.
