Achieving a stock market listing (Initial Public Offering / IPO) is a dream of many entrepreneurs when they raise a large round of capital to be invested in the next phase of their company’s expansion and growth.

The free NISP CONNECT Frameworks Workshop, in partnership with Mills Selig, will be hosted by Kathryn Walls and Chris Guy, who will examine what IPOs mean in 2014 and beyond. Guest speakers include Mark Fahy from the London Stock Exchange, David O’Brien of Shore Capital and Hugh Cormican of Cirdan Imaging, previous founder and director of Andor plc,

An IPO provides the management team and shareholders with the option to continue to grow the company, while still achieving some wealth realisation as opposed to selling the company outright and moving on. As a founder or co-founder it helps to have clarity on whether your goal is an IPO or a trade sale early in your journey as it can have a profound effect on your ability to attract investment and experienced talent to join your team.

In this NISP CONNECT Frameworks Workshop in partnership with Mills Selig, Kathryn Walls and Chris Guy will examine what IPOs mean in 2014 and beyond:

What factors need to be considered by companies contemplating an IPO?

What do CEOs of these companies need to consider?

Which managerial, legal and accounting issues will need to be addressed prior to a successful IPO?

The team will also be joined by a stellar panel, including Mark Fahy from AIM, London Stock Exchange. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

Who should attend?
Entrepreneurs and ‘wantrepreneurs’.

The cost of Frameworks: Exits – The Road to an IPO is free.

Breakfast will be provided for attendees.
