DANI Awards 2014 Launched

The search has begun to find Northern Ireland’s best digital brains in the business as the categories for the fourth year of the DANI Awards 2014 have been announced.

The awards, organised by Tyrone based Digital Advertising Northern Ireland (DANI) who help companies do business better online, will represent the best example of creativity, innovation and effectiveness in the burgeoning digital marcoms space when they take place in Derry in September.

The DANI Awards sponsored by CDE Catapult, will once again form part of Northern Ireland’s digital technology and media festival CultureTECH with new categories from mobile development, gaming and animation to e-learning, viral campaign and best use of social media.

A stellar line up of judges, who between them have countless years of experience working at the coalface, will expertly navigate the entries to select the stand out examples to determine the shortlist.

Naomh McElhatton, Managing Director of DANI said, “The awards celebrate excellence in digital media. The sector is in a unique position to change the way business utilises digital technology. Huge rapid advances are being made making new ideas possible, stretching the boundaries of digital campaigns, be that through mobile, social, augmented reality or out of home. I’m looking forward to seeing the calibre of entries and how businesses locally have adapted to changes in technology over the past 12 months”.

Entries can be submitted online at www.thedaniawards.co.uk. The closing date for entries is July 18th with the winners being announced at a black tie gala ball on Friday 19th September at St Columbs Hall.
