Retail Masterclass – ‘Get Into the Mind of the Consumer’
Mr Des Mulholland has over 30 years retail and consulting experience and he is coming to the Strule Arts Centre on Thursday 15 May 2014 at 6.30 pm to present an informative and insightful seminar to retailers across the Omagh district. Des will discuss customer expectations, profits, stock, social media, e-commerce and attracting more customers.
Des has an extensive retail career with Dunnes Stores in various senior management roles during his ten years with the company. He also worked for Woodies DIY for three years and Dorothy Perkins, ladies fashion chain for one year. He had been consulting in the retail sector for over five years in the Republic of Ireland. He has spoken on various retail topics on BBC Radio, undertaken numerous retail master-classes and provided articles for the Guardian newspaper. In response to his social media strategy work, Des has recently been selected to sit on Facebook’s SMB Client Council for the European region. This gives him the opportunity to get an insight into the future of social media developments by working with Facebook directly.
