Calling All Creative Industries In Fermanagh, Tyrone And Leitrim & Throughout The Region.
Are you interested in developing your skills in creative collaboration?
Would you like to explore ways of working with other creatives and mainstream businesses to develop new products and services?
Do you have a minimum of two years experience in your creative area?
The Harnessing Creativity Project is looking for 30 creative industries working in areas ranging from architecture to engineering; design to photography & film; arts to craft and music to new technology to take part in three Creative Labs, to take place in Fermanagh, Tyrone and Leitrim, April – September 2014.
The Labs will comprise of 8 days of collaborative group sessions with 30 like-minded creative practitioners from the region, with a view to helping you become more confident and effective in working collaboratively with both the creative sector and wider businesses as well as developing ideas generated from concept stage through to a final product.
The Creative Labs will enable you to:
- draw on your knowledge, practice and interests to share and develop new product or service ideas in collaboration with a group of like minded people
- identify and approach suitable businesses, pitch ideas and negotiate terms to help you realise product or service ideas
- avail of specialist mentoring and take forward ideas into marketable products or services
- showcase and promote products to a wider potential client/customer base
Each participant will also be able to avail of a budget of €1,500 to fund expenses such as specialist equipment hire, materials or workspace. Participation is FREE OF CHARGE.
