Businesses Win At Investors In People Awards

Businesses across Northern Ireland celebrate achieving the Investors in People accreditation.

Twenty two businesses from across Northern Ireland have celebrated achieving additional accreditation at Gold, Silver and Bronze levels against the prestigious Investors in People (IiP) framework.

IiP helps businesses of every size, sector and location to compete and succeed through improved people performance. The approach to its delivery has recently changed, becoming more tailored to individual business needs, to help organisations develop, implement as well as evaluate their people management and development strategies.

The framework now also allows businesses to work towards achieving the core Standard or the additional accreditation awards at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.

Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry offered his congratulations to the organisations receiving their awards at a celebration event held in Belfast Castle.

Minister Farry said: “The only thing that differentiates an organisation is its people. Businesses are facing the same challenges. What gives your business the edge is your people. Your people, their skills, and how you manage them, is what will transform your business performance.

“If you develop the skills of your employees, success will ultimately follow. This has been proven, through working with Investors in People, time and time again, and its relevance is as important as ever.”
