Invitation to Expanded Territories – Touring Exhibition @ Dublin City Council Offices

Harnessing Creativity are pleased to forward you our invitation to Harnessing Creativity’s- ‘Expanded Territories’ Touring Exhibition @ the Dublin City Council Offices on Wood Quay, Dublin 2.

The event will be opened on Friday December 06th 2013 at 5.30pm by Bren Byrne (co-Director of OFFSET Creative Event), and will continue in the venue from the 09th to the 13th December between 9am and 5pm.

Expanded Territories is an experimental exhibition celebrating all things creative from the region surrounding Leitrim, Fermanagh and Tyrone and aims to demonstrate the unique creative and innovative talents of the participants of the region.

We hope to see you there on Friday the 06th December for the opening of the Expanded Territories Touring Exhibition.

About Harnessing Creativity

The Harnessing Creativity project aims to exploit the wealth of creative and artistic talent in Tyrone, Fermanagh, Leitrim and the wider region. The Harnessing Creativity project runs until May 2015 and is expected to benefit 200 creative businesses and 100 practitioners from the broader economy during this period. Harnessing Creativity has received funding of €799,880 through the European Union’s INTERREG IVA programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The Cross-Border Project is being delivered by Leitrim County Enterprise Board in partnership with the Irish Central Border Area Network (ICBAN), Leitrim County Council, Fermanagh District Council, Omagh Enterprise Agency, Tyrone Donegal Partnership and the Leitrim Design House.

An international creative conference based in Dublin now approaching its fifth year. Spread over three days in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, OFFSET showcases the best in Irish and international creativity from the commercial arts of illustration, graphic design, photography, street art, film, fashion, advertising and digital experimentation. With presentations, interviews and panel discussions from the worlds leading practitioners it has become a vital tool for Ireland’s creative community growing from an audience of 500 in 2009 to over 2000 in 2013.

As Creative Director of the agency The Small Print, Byrne overseas projects for brands such as Absolut, Sony, Jameson, Electric Picnic, Heineken, West Coast Cooler, Lucas Arts, 3FE, as well as self initiated projects with books for picture book artist Oliver Jeffers, a global print series and much more.
