Stelios Award For Disabled Entrepreneurs In The UK

This unique and prestigious Award is sponsored by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the serial entrepreneur best known for founding easyJet.

The creation of the Award was motivated by Stelios’ goal of not only supporting disabled entrepreneurs, but also raising awareness of the skills and inventiveness of those with disabilities.

Now in the seventh year of the Award, which was launched in 2007, and Leonard Cheshire Disability has been Stelios Award 2013 logo working in partnership with Stelios to find the winning disabled entrepreneur.

The deadline for entries is 5pm on 25 October 2013.

Last year’s winner was Dave Hawkins, an entrepreneur from Hull whose business Cyclone Technologies supplies wheelchairs and fitness equipment to disabled people in the UK and Ireland.
