If you are self-employed or run a small business and employ members of staff you might find it difficult to remember the key tax deadlines you must consider. HM Revenue & Customs have made it easier for you to keep track of the key tax deadlines by publishing a calendar of key tax deadlines for 2013-14.
Deadlines for self-employed
The calendar is simple to follow with all Income Tax deadlines highlighted in green so you are aware of key deadlines for the year such as:
- submissions of paper Self Assessment tax returns
- submissions of online Self Assessment tax returns
Deadlines for employers
All the important tax deadlines for employers are highlighted in blue on the calendar and show key deadlines for the year as well as monthly and quarterly repeat dates, as well as variable dates.
