Social Innovation Camp – Northern Ireland 2013

Social Innovation Camp Northern Ireland call for ideas is now open! We’re looking for the best ideas that use technology to change stuff that matters.

We’re going to be travelling around Northern Ireland for the next seven weeks talking to you and running workshops, challenging you to tell us how small bits of technology can make important changes in our communities.

Over one weekend from 14th-16th June 2013, some of the best of Northern Ireland’s software developers and designers will come together with those at the sharp end of social problems at The Playhouse in Derry-Londonderry. Their mission will be to turn six back-of-the-envelope ideas that could change the world into real, working prototypes in under 48 hours – complete with working software.

You’ve got until Friday 10th May 2013 to send us your idea that uses the any kind of tech – the web, mobile, robots, or anything – to create social change and you could be joining 80 other participants to try and make it a reality.

Find out how it works here and check out our past success stories here.
