Fivemiletown creamery takes first Tesco award

Fivemiletown Creamery has won Tesco Northern Ireland’s first Outstanding Local Supplier award.

Tesco NI’s commercial manager, Cliff Kells, said it has introduced the awards to “celebrate and recognise the enormous effort our Northern Ireland suppliers put in for our customers”.

Every month during 2013 Tesco NI will choose a local supplier it believes worthy of recognition.

The initiative is an extension of the Tesco Taste Northern Ireland campaign, aimed at educating customers and connecting them with the people and places behind their favourite food and drink.
