Free information events for construction industry

These employer information events will inform construction businesses of the products and services available to them

Health and Safety Works NI (HSWNI) in partnership with CITB-ConstructionSkills NI are holding a series of ‘Employer Information Events’.

The events are designed to inform construction businesses of the products and services available to them from both organisations.

HSWNI session details

The HSWNI session at these events will outline:

  • the key health and safety risks including working at height and with asbestos
  • practical steps to improving health and safety management
  • how HSWNI can help the smaller contractor

Sector specific information, including templates and worked examples of risk assessments, will also be available. Details will also be provided on how you can book a mentoring visit with one of HSWNI’s advisers.

CITB-ConstructionSkills NI session details

The CITB-ConstructionSkills NI session at these events will outline:

  • interactive online services
  • grants scheme and levy
  • other services
  • other funded training initiatives

You will also have an opportunity to meet members of the CITB-ConstructionSkills NI Management Team.

  • 9 May – Nautilus Centre, Kilkeel
  • 22 May – Lisburn Enterprise Organisation, Lisburn
  • 12 June – Killyhevlin Hotel, Enniskillen
  • 20 June – Corrs Corner Hotel, Newtownabbey
  • 27 June – Tower Hotel, Londonderry
