Export Administration and Payments Workshop….

This workshop on Export Administration and Payments is organised by Enterprise Europe Network NI, and run by the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce.  It offers practical advice and guidance on export issues, enhancing participants’ ability to efficiently administer the export order process from receipt of an enquiry to delivery of the goods or services.

  • How to ensure compliance with the mandatory requirements of HM Revenue & Customs, banks, carriers and other third parties.
  • How to insure export shipments against both cargo and credit risk.
  • How to identify appropriate sources of information to estimate both buyer and country risk.
  • How to select and operate the most appropriate method of payment.
  • How to operate the selected method of payment mechanism efficiently and successfully including best practice for Letters of Credit.
  • How to measure and mitigate foreign exchange risk.
  • How to measure and manage the credit risk in export.

Practitioners with operational level responsibility for export business or senior managers who want a more thorough understanding of the practicalities of export administration and payments.
