2012 Awards for Excellence open for entries
Enter the Awards to receive recognition for leadership in responsible business practices
The national Awards for Excellence, which have been set up by Business in the Community (BITC) to recognise and celebrate inspirational responsible business programmes, are now open for entries.
This year’s categories cover a wide range of issues, including work experience, collaborative community action, supply chain, climate change, rural communities and sustainable travel.
In each category, entrants that reach the specific standard will be awarded a Big Tick. The best of the Big Tick entries will then be put forward for consideration for the winners. Shortlisted entries will be invited to present to judging panels in May to decide the winners for each category.
The overall winners will be announced at the Awards for Excellence showcase event in July 2012.
The deadline for the majority of categories is 5 March 2012. Deadlines for the Environmental Leadership and Responsible Business of the Year categories will be confirmed at a later date.
