Omagh businesses and organisations can now register for this year’s Data Protection Practitioners’ Conference, taking place online on Tuesday 13 October 2026.
The free annual conference is hosted by the Information Commissioner’s Office and is designed for anyone with responsibility for data protection, compliance, IT security or the handling of personal data.
It is suitable for businesses, charities, community organisations, public sector bodies and professionals across all sectors, whether they are new to data protection or already working in the field.
Last year, more than 7,000 people attended the conference to hear directly from the ICO, take part in practical workshops and learn about the latest developments in data protection.
For Omagh-based businesses, this is a useful opportunity to stay informed, strengthen compliance and understand what good data protection practice looks like in day-to-day operations.
The conference is open to data protection officers, compliance leads, IT and security professionals, business owners, senior managers and anyone involved in managing or protecting personal information.
Early registration is encouraged. Those who sign up early can also tell the ICO what topics they would like to see covered, helping to shape the conference content and agenda.
