Nick O’Shiel:
Hello and welcome to the 60 Second Challenge with Omagh Enterprise Company. I’m Nick O’Shiel, and I’m with Rachel Colton of ROCO Magazine, who’s agreed to take the challenge. Rachel, you’re very welcome.

Rachel Colton:
Thank you! You’re a brave man asking me this before Christmas!

Nick O’Shiel:
Let’s get started. First question: Can you describe your business?

Rachel Colton:
ROCO is an online digital interiors and lifestyle magazine.

Nick O’Shiel:
Very concise! And why did you start your own business?

Rachel Colton:
I saw a niche in the market for a publication focused on interiors. I also wanted to use my creative and business background—and my passion for interior design.

Nick O’Shiel:
Sounds like the perfect fit. What are some of the best things about running your own business?

Rachel Colton:
Definitely the rewards—seeing your plans come to life. And in my case, the readers and their feedback. Their excitement over each new issue is incredibly motivating.

Nick O’Shiel:
Looking ahead, what challenges do you foresee in the coming year?

Rachel Colton:
We’re growing quickly, so time management is a big one—making sure I stay productive. And making sure we scale at the same pace we’re growing.

Nick O’Shiel:
What advice would you give someone thinking of starting a business?

Rachel Colton:
Research, research, and research some more. But also—go for it. You don’t want to live with regrets. It really is rewarding.

Nick O’Shiel:
And finally, in three words or less—how would you describe your experience?

Rachel Colton:
Challenging, rewarding, and a roller coaster!

Nick O’Shiel:
We’ll stop the clock there—1 minute 23 seconds. You met the challenge. Well done, and congratulations.
