Nick O’Shiel:
Hello and welcome to the 60 Second Challenge with Omagh Enterprise Company. I’m Nick O’Shiel, and today I’m with Naomh McElhatton of Digital Advertising NI, who’s agreed to take the challenge. Naomh, you’re very welcome.

Naomh McElhatton:
Thanks very much for having me.

Nick O’Shiel:
Not at all, thanks for joining us. I think you know the challenge—answer six questions about your business in 60 seconds.

Naomh McElhatton:
Yes, 60 seconds. I know!

Nick O’Shiel:
Let’s start the clock. First question: Can you describe your business?

Naomh McElhatton:
We’re an online sales and marketing house. In a nutshell, we help businesses get online and do business online.

Nick O’Shiel:
And why did you start your own business?

Naomh McElhatton:
After the birth of my second child, I was presented with an opportunity to go out on my own. I always wanted my own business, and the timing was right. As a working mum, I now have the freedom and flexibility to make my own schedule.

Nick O’Shiel:
Sounds great. What are some of the best things about being in business?

Naomh McElhatton:
It’s been an exciting challenge. The digital market is new and fast-paced, and the opportunities are massive. It’s great to see clients succeed online.

Nick O’Shiel:
What challenges have you faced?

Naomh McElhatton:
Plenty! Getting started, finding good staff. Plus, there’s still a lack of understanding in the digital space in Northern Ireland—so education is a big part of what we do.

Nick O’Shiel:
What advice would you give someone starting a business?

Naomh McElhatton:
Whatever you do, love it. You need to wake up and look forward to your day. If you can’t do that, it’s better to work for someone else.

Nick O’Shiel:
And in three words or less, how would you describe the experience?

Naomh McElhatton:
Stressful. Fun. Rewarding!

Nick O’Shiel:
We’ll stop the clock there — two minutes, one second. Well done!
