Healthcare businesses, start-ups, research organisations and innovation partners in Omagh and across Northern Ireland are being encouraged to explore two new funding opportunities from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Health.
The programmes are designed to accelerate the development, commercialisation and adoption of innovative healthcare solutions across Europe.
For local businesses working in digital health, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, medical technology or diagnostics, the funding could provide valuable support to bring new products and services to market.
Innovation Uptake Call
The EIT Health Innovation Uptake Call is aimed at mature digital, data-driven and AI-powered healthcare solutions that are ready to expand into new European markets.
The programme will support innovators seeking to accelerate market entry, generate real-world evidence, improve market access and encourage the adoption of clinically validated healthcare innovations.
The call has a total budget of up to €5.2 million, with individual projects able to apply for funding of up to €650,000.
This opportunity may be particularly relevant to established healthcare innovators that have already developed and tested a solution but require additional support to demonstrate its impact, secure wider adoption or enter new markets.
