The UK’s highest business honours are now open for applications, giving businesses across Omagh and surrounding rural areas the opportunity to gain national recognition for their achievements.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise 2027 celebrate outstanding success in business, innovation and leadership across the UK. Open to organisations of all sizes and sectors, the awards can help raise a company’s profile, strengthen credibility and open doors to new opportunities.
Five award categories are available:
- International Trade
- Innovation
- Sustainable Development
- Promoting Opportunity through Social Mobility
- Young Founder
Businesses can apply for more than one category, and entry is completely free.

Who can apply?
To be eligible, organisations must:
- be based in the UK
- have at least two full-time employees, or equivalent part-time staff
- manage their own accounts independently
- have a strong HMRC compliance record
- demonstrate good environmental, social and governance practices
Applications are open to private businesses, non-profit organisations and public sector bodies.
Each category also has its own additional criteria.

Applications for The King’s Awards for Enterprise 2027 close at 1pm on Tuesday 8 September 2026.
