A new opportunity is opening up in Omagh for anyone looking to build confidence, learn digital skills, and take a step forward in their career.
The Digital Skills Academy, starting 31st March 2026, is a 9-week, in-person programme with FIT, supported by Fermanagh and Omagh Labour Market Partnership, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, and the Department for Communities.
What to expect
Delivered in-person at Omagh Enterprise, the programme runs 3 days per week and covers:
- Microsoft Office and core digital skills
- AI awareness and how it is shaping work
- CV building and interview preparation
- Confidence, communication, and career readiness
Participants will also receive 1:1 mentoring and coaching, helping them build skills at their own pace.
Why it matters
Many people already know they need digital skills. The challenge is finding the time, support, and confidence to build them.
This programme is designed to remove those barriers and provide a clear path forward.
