Have Your Say on Tourism Funding in Fermanagh & Omagh

A family stands outside a thatched cottage in a wooded area at the UIster-American Folk Park near Omagh. Logos and text promote tourism funding consultation in Fermanagh and Omagh, presented by Omagh Enterprise.

Tourism businesses across Omagh and the wider district now have an important opportunity to shape future investment in our area.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has secured £4.5 million from the Department for the Economy through the Regional Balance Fund, to be used over the next three years to support local business growth and strengthen our economy.

To help ensure this funding goes where it’s needed most, the Council wants to hear directly from local tourism operators, attractions, accommodation providers, and visitor-focused businesses. Your insight can influence which projects and priorities receive support — helping our region attract more visitors, extend stays, and boost local spending.

A free online information session will outline the plans and gather input from businesses right across the district:

If you’re working in tourism, hospitality, or visitor experiences in the Omagh area, this is a chance to play a part in shaping the future of our local tourism economy.
