Local employers in Omagh and across the wider region are being encouraged to attend an upcoming event focused on creating more inclusive, accessible workplaces for disabled employees. The session will explore how reasonable adjustments can be applied in practice, not just as a legal requirement, but as a way to build stronger, more supportive teams.
Hosted by the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland, in partnership with Belfast Business Promise (Belfast City Council) and the Northern Ireland Union of Supported Employment (NIUSE), the event will highlight real-world examples of what works for employers and employees alike.
What employers will learn
Employers A&O Shearman and Belfast City Council will share their own experiences of implementing reasonable adjustments and improving workplace accessibility. Attendees will hear practical insights on how small changes can remove significant barriers and help disabled staff thrive.
