Have Your Say: How Are Local Businesses Using AI?

A smartphone displaying a ChatGPT prompt is placed in front of a blurred laptop, with a banner asking how local businesses use AI and the Omagh Enterprise logo.

Businesses across Northern Ireland — including here in Omagh — are being asked to share how they use, or don’t use, artificial intelligence (AI) in their day-to-day operations.

The ‘AI in Northern Ireland Businesses: Readiness and Adoption Survey’, launched by Belfast Chamber with support from the Department for the Economy, aims to understand how AI is being adopted across the local business landscape.

The findings will help shape future training, funding, and support programmes designed to help businesses of all sizes make the most of emerging technologies.

🕒 The short survey takes around 9–11 minutes to complete and is open to all types of businesses — whether you’re:

  • already integrating AI into your products or services,

  • just experimenting with new tools, or

  • haven’t started exploring AI at all.

All responses are anonymous, and results will be published later in 2025 to highlight the skills gaps, opportunities, and barriers facing Northern Ireland’s business community — from small enterprises here in Omagh to larger firms across the region.

👉 Complete the survey online by 24 October 2025.
