Female entrepreneurs in Omagh and across Northern Ireland are being encouraged to apply for the Women Advancing Venture and Entrepreneurship (WAVE) 2025 competition.
Organised by Queen’s University Belfast in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), this initiative supports women-led businesses focused on science, technology, and innovation. The WAVE programme is designed to tackle the under-representation of women in these high-growth areas, offering mentorship, training, and the chance to pitch for funding.
Participants will benefit from expert-led workshops, valuable networking opportunities, and tailored guidance from global leaders in business and academia. Finalists will have the opportunity to travel to the US and pitch to investors at MIT.
Applications for WAVE 2025 are now open, with a deadline set for Friday 9 August 2024.
