Workshops to help local businesses maximise resource efficiencies

Invest Northern Ireland in partnership with International Synergies are hosting two workshops to help match businesses that have resources that they store or disposed of with those that can reuse these resources in a specific role elsewhere.

Delegates are asked to identify the resources they have and those they want. The specialist teams of industrial symbiosis practitioners then identify mutually profitable links between participating businesses so that previously under-utilised or undervalued resources can be reclaimed, reprocessed and reused elsewhere by another company.

Cut costs and generate new sales

The workshops will help businesses cut costs that are associated with storing or disposing of certain by-products and also set up potential sales leads for selling on these by-products that are required by other businesses.
