Omagh Enterprise Company in partnership with Spirit of 2012, Comic Relief and UnLtd are delivering the Do it For Real programme which aims to help young people in Northern Ireland start, grow and build their social action projects.

The organisations have come together through a shared purpose to help young people to start and grow social ventures. For more information on UnLtd and their Youth Partners, click here

Do it For Real is the new youth programme which helps young people in Northern Ireland, aged 16-30, discover their full potential and contribute to their communities, their futures and their livelihoods through social entrepreneurship.

Award Packages

The Do it For Real programme offers  three packages of support to young people to start a social action project or venture, including funding, expert help, one to one guidance and networking:

Test It Awards

Test It is for those who wish to explore and try out their social action idea. Funding of £500 will help you research and plan your project and the right dedicated support will aim to develop your confidence and entrepreneurial skills.

Do It Awards

Do It is for those who wish to turn their ideas into real ventures. These awards offer up to £2,500 of funding as well as one-to-one support, expert advice and access to resources to help you and your idea grow to create a more positive social impact.

Build It Awards

Build It is for individuals who have an established social venture or community project or who have the potential to develop rapidly. Funding of £15,000 to cover personal expenditure and support from an UnLtd Award Manager will enable the social entrepreneur to commit full-time and grow their venture sustainably.

 

Applying for an Award

Following the submission of the EOI, the applicant may be asked to submit a full application form.
