Funding For Digital Projects Bridging Culture and Creativity

Funding is available for innovative projects that bridge creativity and culture

The European Commission has published a new call aimed at cultural and audiovisual institutions in the cross-sector strand of Creative Europe.

They are offering funding for projects that include audiovisual and new digital technology for museums, live events and/or cultural heritage.

Specifically, the call requires projects that succeed in bridging cultural and audiovisual content through digitisation. Support will be given to projects that:

  • feature new forms of creation at the crossroads between different cultural and creative sectors, including the audiovisual sector, and through the use of innovative technologies, including virtual reality; or
  • foster innovative cross-sectoral approaches and tools to facilitate access, distribution, promotion and/or monetisation of culture and creativity, including cultural heritage

Proposals are welcome from consortiums composed of at least three legal entities coming from three different countries participating in the Creative Europe programme and presenting a diverse range of expertise across several cultural and creative sectors.

Until the UK leaves the EU, it can fully participate in the Creative Europe programme.

Deadline for applications: 20 June 2019
