Funding For Clean Growth Projects

Hear about the funding opportunities for low carbon technologies, systems and services

An Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund briefing event will take place in Belfast in April to highlight the new funding programmes within the Clean Growth Grand Challenge. The programmes will be in the areas of:

  • energy
  • construction
  • agri-food

The Prospering from the Energy Revolution Challenge Fund will focus on finding new, smarter, local energy approaches that can deliver cleaner, cheaper energy services through new technologies, smart systems, market solutions and consumer engagement.

The Transforming Construction Challenge will more quickly provide safer, healthier and more affordable places to live and learn that use dramatically less energy. This challenge will bring together the construction, manufacturing, energy and digital sectors and aim to tackle the three main issues with buildings – how we build, manage and power them.

The Transforming Food Production Challenge will deliver £90 million of new funding for agri-tech to help businesses, researchers and industry to transform food production by embracing technology and innovation. Funding will support priority research projects, innovation accelerators, demonstrator projects and international research.

If you’re interested in these challenges, the briefing event is an opportunity to hear from the relevant agencies about the scope of the programmes, to network, meet with relevant stakeholders and explore project ideas.

The event will take place in Titanic Belfast on Wednesday 25 April 2018. Attendance is free, but you should register to secure your place.
