European Union Funded Programmes – European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is offering free support to hundreds of businesses throughout the Council area over the next four years.  The projects are part funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth and Jobs Northern Ireland (2014-2020) Programme.

Kick Start Programme

The Kick Start Programme will have a two tier approach of support to businesses as follows:

  • Tier 1 – workshops covering key business topics to businesses within the first 12 months of completing RSI/NIBSP or setting up business through other means.
  • Tier 2 – up to a maximum of four days one-to-one mentor support to businesses still in operation 12 months and up to a maximum of 36 months after completing RSI/NIBSP or setting up by other means and who can demonstrate the potential to create jobs.

Advancing Business Growth Programme 

  • The Advancing Business Growth Programme is for businesses in operation for three years or over with turnover of a minimum of £50,000. The programme will be delivered through a combination of workshops relevant to the needs of local businesses and up to a maximum of three-and-a-half days one-to-one mentoring in areas including sales and marketing, research and development, exporting and growing the digital economy.
