Free Event For STEM Employers
This Equality Commission event will address the issue of unconscious bias and its effects on women in technical careers
The Equality Commission is hosting an event for local employers in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) sectors.
This STEM equality network event will examine the impact which unconscious bias has on women seeking employment opportunities in these industries.
The event will be participative and delegates will be asked to:
- examine their own perceptions and decisions
- look at their organisations and organisational cultures
- think of ways to challenge unconscious bias
- share good practice examples
